Re: English - 03/02/2008 18:28

HMMM for learning in school I have not enough time, because I've got a stressfull job and a family also. He teachs me very good, thats not the problem. Only the time is the problem. And what I also think is in school I will learn *hocharabisch* and what I need is tunisian arabic. I think and know that is a very big difference, Cause if I show TV from Egypt, or Jazeera....I cannot understand so a little thing. In TV7 for example I understand much more than the others...

yes there is a big difference between arabic language and tunisian dialect..you cannot learn tunisian dialect at school, tv7 or radio for example can help you, you can for example hear http://www.mosaiquefm.net (it's a very nice tunisian radio)

I wasn't talking about you... I said that, because the tunisian and even the french accent while those people are speaking english makes me laugh a lot. My husband for example- sounds really funny when he says something in english!
But maybe for native speakers my english is funny as well, so whatever

the most important thing is to understand each other when we have different languages.
for example, when i was in germany first time, i can't speak german language very well so people can't understand me!! i was alone in the airport, anybody waiting me, and i must use the DB to go to my hostel..my english helped me a lot to communicate with german people and got the right train to go to my hostel.

I'm quiet sure that a lot of tunisian people don't speak english,of course they study this subject in school but it's difficult to find one he really understand and use this language. It's just a personal experience.

habe leider keine animation gefunden für den zu werfenden stein... *fg*
aber stell dir den stein als geworfen vor.

und damit beziehe ich mich auf meine englische gramatik

wobei mein deutsch auch nicht das schlimmste ist, da habe ich hier schon ganz andere dinge gelesen

Hey, that is pigstrong! Make more far so!

It seems that many readers here think we are rotating through or we are beyond from good and evil. But that is not right, we are not sitting beautiful in the ink or came into devils kitchen. Else, it would be all dead trouser here. Oh well, probably they will drive out of their skins now...

Anyway - now I am hungry. I will go into the restaurant on the other side of the Quickse.xroad and tell the over that I want to become a Schnitzel, or it will knock me out of the socks...

Re: English - 06/02/2008 14:02

...I'm quiet sure that a lot of tunisian people don't speak english,...

actually - I know quite a few Tunisian girls with an very good knowledge of the english language, 3 of them are even english school teachers. They all have more or less a sort of dialect, but, then again, when you hear most Germans speaking english, it is likewise. It definitely sounds better when a Tunisian speaks english than when a French does. :-)

In Germany, a waiter is an over (Ober).

...hole day...
